In reply to: [Quick Restaurant Menu] Widgets stripping CSSThanks again for your help and this really helpful plugin.
For the two column people out there I was able to put the shortcode into a half-page sidebar with text widget, and shortcode from a second menu in the post area, and it looked and worked great with a few themes I’ve tried.

In reply to: [Quick Restaurant Menu] Widgets stripping CSSI was able to find the Widget CSS Classes plugin that lets you specify a class for each text widget that seemed to do the trick after copying over the CSS from the erm-front stylesheet to the theme’s stylesheet.
Probably not the best solution, as it won’t inject any custom CSS specified in the Rest. Menus settings page so all those changes will have to be incorporated to the theme’s stylesheet as well, so if there’s a better way to do this out there I’d definitely be interested in hearing it.

In reply to: Changing blog address messes up uploads URLsWow, heriz, you’re like your own tech support up there – good job! I just migrated a non-live WP on my localhost to a[n almost] live place on the web and was devastated, thinking I’d have to re-upload all my pictures again. Your link worked great, and therefore won’t hold that /legroom thing against you 🙂
Thanks again to you, jg and moshu for the helpful tips; I owe all you guys a beer. You’re invited too, redheadedninja, I’m in a very good mood right now.

In reply to: making text wrap around imagesMy question is similar to ccpetersen’s regarding the image captioning. I’ve inserted the above CSS code and styled it to my likings, but when I try to put two captioned images next to each other in a post, it won’t do it – and what I mean by that is it automatically creates a line break.
Is there really no way to place two captioned images next to each other in a post?
Also, it works fine and I can get the images next to each other without captions. I suppose an alternative would be to use [gallery], but I really like the current styling of my captions, and would prefer to have a few captioned images in a row (that resembles a row of a gallery).

In reply to: CSS works in IE not FirefoxWow, that’s so bizarre! I swear it wasn’t working in my Firefox last night, but like you said, it does look fine now. Thanks!
