In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] Menus Showing for Super Addy?So I don’t need to buy your pro plugin to make this work for not hiding the menus for Super Admins? I don’t have multiple levels of users. It’s just me and the site admins. They will have the custom menus and me the full blown menus. Possible right with the free version?
Sorry but new to this one.
Thanks

In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] How to Delete PluginI do have a question about your free plugin though…
I had it installed on a network and started setting up the custom menus, but soon realized that me, as a Super Admin, could no longer see the original menu items when I went to a subsite.
Is this the limitation of the free plugin?
Or is there some setting I missed so that Super Admins still can have visibility to all original menus?
I planned to have one menu setting for all siteadmins, but think that Super Admins need to be given the option to set to keep the original menu visible.
Thanks

In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] How to Delete PluginI used global menu settings and did this…
– Deleted /mu-plugins/admin-menu-editor-mu.php
– Deleted the directory /mu-plugins/admin-menu-editor
– Deleted the ws_menu_editor entry from the wp_sitemetaI didn’t see anything in wp_usermeta, so I think I am clean.
Thanks

In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] How to Delete PluginBTW, I didn’t install it from the admin panel. I installed it manually in the mu-plugins folder.
I found a good workaround. Thanks

In reply to: [Portfolio Gallery - Photo Gallery] Problems on MobileI’m a free user and below is the link to where it’s installed. You will see that when you click on “View More”, that it tries to open the new page in a lightbox. It should redirect to the linked page and not try to show the page in a lightbox.
Try it on mobile and see if you get the same thing I’m seeing.
Thanks

Okay, I have WP installed at domain.com. It’s a MS Network.
I also have a WP MS Network installed at domain.com/blogs and domain.com/places and a couple others just to keep them separated and with their own databases, plus each one has their own social network and list of subsites.
If I understand you right, then as long as I have WP installed at domain.com, which I do, then I can map any subsite in any of the MS installs, say at domain.com/blogs for example? The subsites in these networks show as domain.com/blogs/site1,site2,site3 and domain.com/places/site1,site2,site3, etc.
You say “If WP is installed at domain.com then you can use domain mapping. Period. Subfolders, subdomains, don’t matter :)”. Then you go on to say “You cannot do this if WP is installed in domain.com/wp and your sites are showing as domain.com/wp/photos”, which is confusing in this case.
I do have WP installed at domain.com and the mapping plugin is installed and configured. I would like to know how that works, since the plugin asks for the Blog ID and each network has a Blog ID 2, 3, 4, etc.
Can you or someone please clarify if it’s possible. So far I don’t see it.
Thanks again

In reply to: [Portfolio Gallery - Photo Gallery] Problems on MobileI’m using it in content-popup mode. When I click on any of the portfolio items in mobile it pops up fine, but when I click on ‘View More’, it tries to open the page in a lightbox instead of redirecting to the page.
Also, not sure why when you click on an item on the main menu of the site, that it tries to open the page in a lightbox instead of just opening the page like normal.
Thanks

In reply to: [BP Multi Network] Two Networks on the Same Domain?Thank you Ron. Also, what is the best option to secure a network of sites? What do you use? I have been using Wordfence. Any thing extra that I should go with?
I know this is probably the wrong place to ask that, but I know you are very good with WordPress.
Thanks

The subscribe to email plugin by inscrub at wpmudev works great, but I’ve been using subscribe2 for a long time and learned to code the junk out that they keep adding in to make it work like it’s always been working.Forum: Plugins
