Well, I’m not the person who started this thread, but hopefully they don’t mind if I tag on, since I think we’re asking similar if not the same question. I just want to add a new section to the home page that has a chunk of text. What’s the easiest way to do this?

Oh, I should also mention, because I’ve seen this listed as a possible cause of such problems… I did have Google Gears installed in Firefox, but I have uninstalled it and the problem persists.

Hi, thanks for the response. But this is an absolutely brand new WordPress blog. Started from scratch with 2.8, and no plugins installed.
