In reply to: [Postman SMTP Mailer/Email Log] Not Working with Contact Form 7Hi –
I’m having the same problem. Furthermore, when logging into my WP site, if I request a new password, I get an error message.
When I turn the Postman plug-in off, contact 7 and the password refresh works perfectly.
Meanwhile, I have checked and re-checked the configuration of Postman … and have sent test emails from Postman without issue.
I’m running WordPress 4.7.1, multi-site, on BlueHost. Postman is integrated with my Google account. A while ago I sent 500+ emails without issue using Postman & SendPress.
I believe the problem I am now having has been since I set-up Postman. At that time, I didn’t bother to check to see if Contact7 or log-in password retrieval had an issue.
Can anyone help me??

In reply to: [Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] The images not loading in IEHi –
I gave up.With Michael’s (omgraphics) help I found that the plug-in worked on some PCs but not on mine. All with IE 8. No matter what I did I couldn’t make it work on my newest version of IE 8. No problems with Opera, Safari, FF or Chrome…
I found an alternative plug-in that provides a similar although not identical look and feel. Also SEO friendly. Check it out: smooth_slider
See my implementation at:www.longtailnet.com
If anyone has any ideas how I can get the title text to be left justified — let me know. With simple HTML I was able to get the descriptions left justified.
Good luck …

In reply to: [Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] The images not loading in IEThanks again …
First — re: “auto post” … sorry for the misuse of my language — I meant using the config set-up to place the slideshow on the home page without using the short code…. which as I’ve mentioned, I’ve tried and it too failed.
I’ve also tried what you’ve suggested … turning off all of the show buttons including the right column of text ….
Still no go in IE …
My theme has a “rotate image” — in the header — capability, which I don’t use. I’ve gone through the set-up interface for the theme — trying what I think are the correct set-ups to disable this feature….
The weirdest part is that it works perfectly with all other browsers ….
I guess I’m hosed with this and need to find something else …. I can tell ya, I just need a nice tool to slide pictures with links in/out on my home page to promote specific program titles ….. and with the new wave I want to avoid Flash. This plug-in would have been perfect.
Hmmmm …. thanks again…..

In reply to: [Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] The images not loading in IEHello Omgraphics —
Thanks for your reply. I have tried what you have suggested including deactivating in sequence all other plug-ins. I don’t want the Slideshow to appear on every page of my website … actually just on my ‘home’ page.Hence, I’ve placed your suggested shortened short code:
–> [FrontpageSlideshow fs_cats=853 fs_slides=2] <—
Currently posted on a test post/page: http://www.longtailnet.com/3374/With this short code, I’ve also tried a number of different image on/off effects in the SlideShow admin area. And I’ve even tried to have it ‘auto post’ to the home page, which is the principal place I wanted it anyway …
NO LUCK — All tested browsers work except IE….
Any additional notions???????
NOTE: I’m not a programmer. But with careful instructions I have on occasion made small changes to my theme’s php files. The current load of my theme however does NOT include any changes to the php files. I needed to do this to include flash in the header — which I’m no longer doing …
Gosh, I’d love to make this work … I’ve tried a bunch of different promo type sliders — this is clearly the best of the lot…. But, no IE — means not good.

In reply to: [Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] The images not loading in IEHi again,
I love the look and functionality of this plug-in, but it won’t work for me on IE. I’ve posted a ‘test’ page and I have tried a bunch of different settings, but it never works on IE. Fine with Firefox, Opera, Chrome & Safari. … << note that with Chrome there is no text in the right panel and on IE only the text in the right panel appears — but NO pictures. … I can live with what Chrome is doing >>The following is the relevant information. Can you help me make this work or not???.
Test Post: http://www.longtailnet.com/3374/ <<note I have purposely posted the snippet code — which is then followed by the sample that doesn’t work in IE >>

This is driving me bonkers … I’ve read through these postings and have tried everything.I’m no programmer, but I’ve more-or-less figured out this plug-in … It works perfectly with all browsers EXCEPT IE.
Has someone found a solution?
Clearly not working with IE means it’s not working.
On IE I get the captioned text in the panel but NO images… ?????
