In reply to: Creating a Page WITH PHP codeTo add to moshu’s post:
If you’re going to be using the same code on a lot of pages, I’d suggest putting it in the template.
If the code is different for each page, use a plugin.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: HELP! I can’t edit posts or pages! It could be something on your setup – do you have a firewall/internet security program that could be locking certain stuff down? For example, I have Norton Firewall, and I never used to be able to change Options settings because it used to disable sending referrers (which were needed at the time). I’m not saying that’s specifically it, and I’m unfamiliar with what’s required to edit a post, but perhaps it’s something in your setup? Might be worth playing around, eliminating possibilities.
Are you using the Admin user to do these edits? Have you created another user that you use, that maybe doesn’t have the rights to edit Admin’s posts? (Just throwing ideas out here).

In reply to: WP on Yahoo Geocities w/ Mac OS X–Installation HelpHave you configured your
wp-config.phpfile? It’s initially calledwp-config-sample.php. You need to fill in your database details.Secondly, if you have done this, what error message are you getting when you try to run
install.php? If it’s saying “File not found”, then are you using the correct path (i.e http://www.yoursite.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php)?Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: WP 1.5.2 not recognizing new theme stylesheetMy advice would be to delete the relevant files off the server, then upload the new ones. Then check that they are up with your FTP client, then go to the Presentation page and see if it still lists it as broken.

In reply to: Technorati Article ContentWithout a link to an example, I can only surmise that Technorati take this info straight off your blog – so the only way to get rid of it would be to stop displaying this info on your blog.

In reply to: How do I check my feedsBlogs linking to you aren’t related to your feed. The reason that they may not be showing up is that Technorati often takes longer to gather information about who’s linking to smaller blogs than for larger blogs.
To check your feed, either download a feed reader for your desktop, an extension for Firefox, or use a web-based reader such as Bloglines, Rojo or Google Reader.

In reply to: HELP! I can’t edit posts or pages!Kep, if by work you mean all your posts and pages, then don’t worry, you won’t lose them – they’ll still be in your database. To be sure, follow Podz’ guide to backing up your database (backing up regularly is good procedure anyway).
