Although I haven’t tried it, I would see if the following works for your Permalinks:/%category%/%postname%-00%post_id%/

It’s actually hilarious that I spent nearly an hour RTFM and Googling around when all I had to do was add two digits to the permalink.

It worked brilliantly, Thanks for the help Jonradio.

Edit: The only thing that bothers me is that all post ID’s will begin with 00. So if post’s get into tripple digits, they’ll look like “00345”

I’m not going to lie. I just jumped up out of my chair in joy and did the happy dance. alism it worked! Not only did it fix the drop down menus but it also allowed me to edit posts via the html tab and it fixed my white text issue. I thank everyone for helping me for this problem and I hope anyone facing this issue googles this post.

Now, I’m off to find out what this “define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );” does exactly.

I just downloaded WP 292 and replaced my current wp-admin folder with the fresh one, It doesn’t appear to have any effect on anything. 🙁

Deactivated all plugins, yes.
Default theme, yes sir.
I also deactivated all plugins via myadmin.
I saw you posted on this matter before, I followed your advice before you even answered my question, haha.

So I’m at a loss here. I’d really prefer not having to redesign my website. I really think the biggest clue to the problem is that the dropdown tabs do not work anywhere in the admin panel and that there is no “site name” at the top. what factors could possibly change this?
