In reply to: 403 error only in IEThanks for the advice! Might have to have a read on css grids. Why would it work last week fine and stop all of a sudden?

In reply to: 403 error only in IEWhat’s strange is that this template was working in IE last week fine and the template hasn’t been modified since then.
Wonder if any windows updates for IE have been pushed out recently to cause the issue?

In reply to: Admin Front end has lost its styleI backed up the ftp files, then make a backup of the sql tables.
I then replaced the site urls in the tables for the new address.
Reuploaded everything and edited my config.php and ht access.

In reply to: Change top header to customDecided to use the background and text as one image and use the logo as a separate one.. just hope it looks ok on all devices.

In reply to: Change top header to customOk so I have the background in and centred top!
This looks great on all devices.
Im just struggling to get the logo (in red) and the text positioned correct on all devices.
At the moment the logo and text are together on one image with transparent background. Is it better to cut the text off and just use that separate and write the text in the SITE TEXT option?

In reply to: Change top header to customThanks George that sounds like the best option.
So would you do the black and red image as one complete png in the background if so what size would be best to suit all devices?

In reply to: How do i safely update a theme after editing CSS and PHP filesAh right ok so with my backup styles.css and functions.php if I change the headers to suit my parent theme, create the child dir, then add them to it, if I update the parent theme the child theme overwrites the style and functions of it.
