I have solved some of the problems. The Easy Google Fonts did not do teh trick, I found that the Editor tab in Customize showed the code and would save it, I struggled but fixed font size issue.

4. Solved, it was in the theme as an option

The big one left is turning my Static banner images, into a link to a page on site.

Does anyone know how I can make that linkable on a click, very easy on pages in WP, but not for me on front page.
