In reply to: Moving site Theme to new hostingIf you do a search and replace on your entire database to change the URLs, you can cause issues with data serialization, due to the fact that some themes and widgets store values with the length of your URL marked. When this changes, things break. To avoid that serialization issue, you have two options:

When I follow a set of instructions it starts saying “if” and that confuses me so much I cant figure it out.

Unable to create directory /hsphere/local/home/vitzdrks/vithit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
There is no “wp-content/uploads/2012/09” folder should I create one?
