Hi,
We generally recommend against stacking multiple CDNs/caching on top of one another. While 2 may be generally ok, you’re increasing the number of things you have to manage using multiple caching servies & you’re also creating the greater potential for conflict between the services at some point.
What happens if you set a PageRule for:

Thanks! And tell Sam that I said, “Hello!”

Make sure you don’t have minify turned on at both W3TC and CloudFlare.
Rocket Loader is also an optional performance feature that can be turned off (doesn’t affect the CDN aspect of our service).
If the behavior is only happening on a specific URLs with Rocket Loader, you could look at setting a PageRule to turn CloudFlare off on that URL.
Hi,
Are you getting any error messages relative to CloudFlare when it isn’t working?

Definitely let me know what you find. I actually know the plugin author.
Hi,
We actually aren’t testing IPv6 & have had IPv6 live for a few years now. Most customers have this feature turned on.
Hi,
“Wordfence can’t get the IP of clients and therefore can’t operate. We received IP: 2601:7:1b80:906:800d:59c9:61b1:ed08. X-Forwarded-For was: 2601:7:1B80:906:800D:59C9:61B1:ED08 REMOTE_ADDR was: 2601:7:1b80:906:800d:59c9:61b1:ed08”
Not sure what’s happening here. The IP address showing is IPv6.
Hi Ipstenu-DH,
My understanding is that hosts generally only install mod_cloudflare on shared servers & not dedicated (you may be different than our other partners in that regard).
Hi Rhand,
That IP address range is in CIDR format. It would convert to:
108.162.192.0 – 108.162.255.255
If using just one plugin it is generally ok. What you don’t want to do is install multiple caching plugins or services on a domain because you’re adding more risk for conflict at some point (you also may have to clear your cache in multiple places). Most users get by fine just using CloudFlare without a plugin.

In reply to: [BruteProtect] Cloudflare Performance settings causing site down false alarmsHmmm…not sure what’s going on then. Would you mind opening a support ticket with the behavior before/after? It might help us narrow down if it is an issue on our end. We generally don’t see any real issues with minify like that, so we should probably take a look at it.

In reply to: [BruteProtect] Cloudflare Performance settings causing site down false alarmsHi,
That seems weird (our HTML minify is pretty conservative). Are you running any other caching plugins on the site that also minify?
Hi Cais,
Can you actually drop me a line? If you’re seeing that many issues with Rocket Loader, I do believe the engineers have a way to exclude the plugin in some way from Rocket Loader (I think we have done something similar with Disqus). You can reach me at damon <at> cloudflare.com & I’ll try to intro you to the engineering lead for that product.

In reply to: [BruteProtect] Cloudflare Performance settings causing site down false alarms“I’ve narrowed it down to either the “Auto Minify” or “Rocket Loader” settings that are causing the false alarms.”
I don’t think Minify or Rocket Loader would be the cause here. Are you getting CloudFlare error messages at all on the site? I’m wondering if perhaps all of our IP ranges aren’t being passed along or something.
