In reply to: WordPress One Click BackupI’m trying to do a backup and when I click on “Backup Database” I get a message that it worked correctly, but there’s no backup file in my backup folder. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve read through this thread and seen mention of a dump.php file, but can’t seem to find that anywhere.
I fear I am just not going to understand this one.

In reply to: Smilies not showing in commentsI tried using an absolute path and nothing. I believe it has to do with this thread, but I’m not sure how I need to attempt to fix this. Maybe an upgrade would do the trick? I’m a bit nervous about upgrading though.

In reply to: Grins – removing smiliesHe emailed back and it’s not the code since the smilies work in my posts and whatnot. I have no clue what’s going on. I’m too frustrated to try any more. Thanks for all your help.

In reply to: Grins – removing smiliesIt’s like there’s some setting wrong or something. I added some script so people can bold, italicize or link text and that doesn’t show up in the comments either. Am I missing a setting somewhere so that these things will show in the comments?

In reply to: Grins – removing smiliesIt’s weird how they show up in the posts, but not the comments. I’m working on it too, well, as much as I can until my son wakes up from his nap. I’ll post back if I can figure anything out. Thanks for your help Beel! =)

In reply to: Grins – removing smiliesGotcha on the commenting out of the smilies I don’t want. But now I can’t get my smilies to show up in the actual comments. I’ve checked my smilies settings in my Options and they’re set to “True,” etc., but still no smilies.
