In reply to: Migration to new host not workingThe host solved it. When the database transferred the new host chopped off one character of the db username. They updated the name and in the wp-config file (which I grabbed a local copy of for safekeeping) and we’re online.
Hope this helps someone else.

In reply to: [cformsII] Form Disappeared and ErrorThanks bergmann
I guess it’s not related to the plugin. I’ve never transferred a WP database to a new host. So I didn’t know if I had to change the name of the database in like the config file or .htaccess or how AIOWPS might need to be adjusted, turned off or whatever to get the site to work.
Update. I didn’t realize I had to create a blank database first to import to. The db has a different name because it’s on a different host. Where do I need to update names in WP files or else where for this to work?
Thanks. Halfway there!
Love this plugin!
Found it! Bottom of User Login>Login Lockdown tab.

In reply to: 301 htaccess all https to http instead? If it helps I think they turned off their SSL so maybe I can’t even do this from the htaccess as seen here:
InstructionsI tried some code in the functions.php file but that didn’t work either. See here:
InstructionsSweet. Thanks for keeping us posted. We use the plugin on a lot of sites. It’s phenomenal.
Number of Backup Files To Keep: 0 Thie field allows you to choose the number of backup files you would like to keep in the backup directory
I interpret that to mean, send me the backup to the email address I specified only, but save zero backups to the server.
In this case that is how my client wants it. They aren’t advanced enough to keep going in via FTP and deleting old database backups they don’t need off the server.
Doesn’t specifying 0 backups to keep mean don’t keep any?
Confusing to me at at least.
If I manually run the backup it still saves an unwanted copy to the server when I run the manual backup.
Thanks.
Still don’t see it being a chron job if when I tell the plugin to manually run the update it still generates a server backup copy.
Uh, no idea because on this job the client is not hosting with me. I have not set up any chron jobs. Is that something they need to ask their host? How would this run the AIOWPS backup and store it in the folder?
I don’t think this is the issue because if I run a manual DB backup that sends it to me by email it also pops a copy in the backup folder on the server.
Any ideas?

1. You have to contact Apple at http://support.itunespodcasts.com and ask them to remove the listings you want removed. (send them links to the itunes listings)
2. It’s a bug at apple that only affects the desktop version of iTunes (Mac and Windows). They known about the 20 episode limit and are going to fix it sooner or later. The search will still search all episodes and it doesn’t happen on the iOS Podcasts app.

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] Can't Update to WP 4.2.1OK, I have no idea what was the cause. Disabled AIOWPS and it still wouldn’t update. Perhaps it was a server issue at bluehost timing out when trying to update.
Running the manual WP update was painful but thanking God (literally) we seem to be back up and running. Be sure if you do the manual update that you copy the index.php to the root directory and change the path of your installation.
I do see there are other posts online about not being able to do the one click update to 4.2 so whatever it is, I wasn’t alone.

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] Can't Update to WP 4.2.1Going to test now by trying the install of 4.2.1 with AIOWPS on (currently hanging for several minutes) and then with it off if it doesn’t succeed.
I still suspect a conflict with AIOWPS because
1. I could not install the COntact FOrm 7 plugin update until I turned off AIOWPS
2. I’m having funky issues with the custom login page
3. Issues with some admin pages going to a “page not found” which I’ve never had before.I haven’t changed a thing, although Bluehost did recently force an update to WP 4.1.4 because of the XSS concerns.
Will report back…
Sure, is there an email I can send it to? No ability to attach here that I see. Thanks.
