In reply to: Blank white screen of deathfor some reason, I used /wp-admin/about.php and then it said something like “the database needs to be updated”, i clicked on the button and now it kinda works again.
honestly. it would be so easier if there was some code like 404, telling me what to do. I deleted and renamed all kinds of files last week, reuploaded wordpress, and so on..!

however, it still won’t work 🙁@ AKINAKTANSEL: thanks. I checked the permissions, they look fine for me. like all the other wp-sites.
I really have NO CLUE at all, what to do with that blank white page… 🙁

yes, I have the NextGen. It ALWAYS makes trouble. I will try to deactivate my plugins.
@esmi: all my changes in the CSS and Code will be gone if I reupload the fresh version?

I have the same problem.
WordPress and NextGen are up to date. But even befor the last NextGen update yesterday, the pictures in the album view were invisible.
I can see them in the admin panel, manage them and use them in sites or galleries. only the album view is not working.
Please help.
