It is preferable to use the kit version of WordPress 3.5 or 3.5.1 and 1.0.4 version of Ajax Events Calendar. Then follow the link newly created website integrate in your initial site where the calendar not working correctly due to incompatibilities between versions Events Calendar Software work with.
If your page with calendar initial is http://mysite/calendarYour new page with the same calendar is
http://new_mysite/calendar. Acces this page from http://mysite/any_link
In cPanel phpMyAdmin export your initial data (aec_event and aec_event_category tables) and import in the new instalation database.

And utilise its pages including just the calendar pages into your presentation site. I hope to help you.
