I only had one author (which is me) and got no error. Why don’t you delete the author that has never posted in MT then export, and try again?
In import-mt.php, comment out the line 117:
users_form($j);
I don’t know if this is appropriate, but if you don’t have multiple users in MT, it’s probably ok.
