Apologies, Nate — I kept losing track of this. Here’s that CVS file — and that makes total sense on the Amazon import.

Sorry to lose the thread of this conversation, Nate. Yes, everything I mentioned in this thread has been resolved.
Thank you so much for how responsive you’ve been to my posts.
Hi, Nate; So the Amazon link seems to fetch the book data just fine now. Maybe it was a problem on my host’s end. Everything seems to work as it should.
Thanks for the quick fix!
- Specifically, I uploaded a CSV with a “comic” instead of “comic book”, but yeah that’s the gist of it.
- This morning the Amazon link fetched data for 4 draft posts with no problem before it stopped working. Then I tried clicking other formats and using those links and it worked again. I’ll keep an eye on it and try and figure out what happens when it stops working.
Hi Nate,
I just noticed that my custom template for My Reads is also loading on my regular post type as well. Under the settings menu in My Reads, I noticed I can see other post templates that aren’t in the “My Reads” category, so maybe that has something to do with it.
It seems to be working! I appreciate you rolling this out. You can see the results here:
https://brandonjs.blog/my-reads/robin-year-one/A couple of bugs to report:
1. I added this using the csv upload method just to experiment. I accidentally mistyped the format and it seems to have broken the media block on the post. Deleting it and re-adding it does not fix the issue, but the block on another draft post I have is working.2. the Amazon link doesn’t seem to be fetching any data. It says it completes, but nothing changes. It’s supposed to pull the image and title, right?
Another thought:
If a user wanted to batch upload a TBR reading list, maybe the default on csv import should be set to ‘draft’ or ‘pending review’?
Sweet! It’s been a busy couple of days. I’ll install it tonight and report back!
Wow, yeah — if users could set their own default patterns in the settings it would be fantastic. Thanks, man!
