I’ll look into both of these things for you.
I’m using some pre-defined WP commands for the category dropdown so will need to read up on what’s possible with this. I’ll also looking at a “random” selection option and an extension to the 5 / 10 post limit.

Hi, I’ve worked to add this into the new release of the plugin and this should be with us shortly.
I have a group of users testing the new version as I speak so release is imminent.

Confirmed – this is an error when calling get_post using PHP 4.
Anybody know how to pass the parameter?
