In reply to: [activetab] Make bbPress Forum Pages Full WidthI guess what I am looking for is some bbPress specific code that I can add to the style sheet in the child theme. There are a number of examples that come up in searches but none have worked in this theme.

In reply to: Make bbpress Forum Pages Full WidthThanks. It’s difficult to know where to direct the inquiry sometimes. In this case there is the WordPress core, the plugin and the theme in play. Are there any general guidelines on how to best direct the inquiry.

In reply to: Converting an Existing Site to the New EditorJust to follow up – I think the answer is yes but can I assume that this whole block paradigm applies equally to pages as it does to posts?

In reply to: Converting an Existing Site to the New EditorThanks. I have a whole menu structure exposing a number of pages that have things like google sheets and calendars embedded in iframes, custom html and html pointing to a payment vendor’s javascript. I want to leave the look and feel consistent while gradually converting the posts and pages over the time period where the classic editor plugin is supported.

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Using return path email address not email addressUpdate – this problem occurs when the “Enable when web host requires “Mail From” strictly tied to site.” box field on the “Basic Settings” tab is checked. In this case the return email address is generated using the contents of the “Return-path address” field on the “Basic Settings” tab rather than the contents of the “Email” field on the “Fields” tab.
The only way to fix this problem is to uncheck the “Enable when web host requires “Mail From” strictly tied to site.” box field on the “Basic Settings” tab. The bug is easily reproducible.

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Using return path email address not email addressTo get it work correctly I have to delete the return path address and uncheck the Enable when web host requires “Mail From” strictly tied to site. box but then there are dmarc issues.
This is bad bug that caused my return emails to be sent to the return path address and I didn’t realize it right away.

In reply to: Justify Icon Removed From Post Editor In 4.7OK but if the post was not offensive then it should not have been removed because by removing you are artificially diminishing the level of objection to what the core people did. People should be able to formulate multiple posts or replies of there own about the like issues.

In reply to: Justify Icon Removed From Post Editor In 4.7I object to the thought police removing her post in the other thread. Of course now I can’t make an educated assessment on my own because you deleted her post. The fact that sentiment is posted in multiple locations is valid and demonstrates further dissatisfaction with what you have done. By deleting it you are effectively stacking the deck against those who are against what you have done.

In reply to: Justify Icon Removed From Post Editor In 4.7Thanks for the info but that is not a good enough reason to remove it. It has been there for a long time and I don’t want to lard up the site with another plugin. As far as objecting to proposals, most people probably don’t have the bandwidth to track that sort of thing in anticipation of having relied upon functionality arbitrarily removed as we have come to expect from the likes of Microsoft, Google, Apple etc. There is too far much minutia in the world to monitor everything that people are going to pull.

In reply to: switching WordPress site from http to httpsI didn’t say it is necessary. It will help configuration though. Siteground recommended it.
