Nothing I tried worked, including the suggestions here. Then tonight I upgraded to 2.6.1, using, for the first time, the “WordPress Automatic Upgrade” plugin — and the WYSIWYG editor reappeared. I don’t know if the fix was due to the upgrade itself or to using the “Automatic Upgrade” plugin (thereby not making mistakes).
I have the same problem. No solution, but see: “I Can only write with html.”
I have the same problem. See: I can only write with html.
Just to clarify: Using the Visual editor, the html is what shows up. Using the html editor, nothing shows up, unless I highlight the text box. Then I get the same code as in the Visual editor.
Help, please!
I’m having the same problem, both writing a new post and editing an old one. I can deal with the html, but it’s helpful having the visual also.
