In reply to: [WordPress Backup to Dropbox] WPB2D Database Filename and SizeI’m curious about the two sql databases as well, since the FAQ makes reference to their only being one.
I’ll be damned. I don’t know how they got changed but will have to figure that out (they’d been working for months).
Thanks for taking the time to look at it and for your help.
Cheers.
Turned off all the other plugins and got this as the error:

Alas, I am not (though I really should be – nice plugin).

In reply to: Media Importing FailureNo problem adding files via the media library uploader or the media uploader in the post editor.

In reply to: Media Importing FailureNope, they’re not being uploaded at all.

In reply to: Media Importing FailureYeah, there’s nothing there aside from “Directive ‘magic_quotes_gpc’ is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater” which I don’t think is related based on my searching.

In reply to: Media Importing FailureSame problem here trying to go from a wordpress.com account to a wordpress.org one.
Permissions on the upload folder and on wp-content (temporarily) is 777. Logged into both sites in the same browser. Imports posts no problem, but all of the media fail to upload.
Not sure where else to look. Is there an error log that might tell me something more specific?
Incidentally “Failed to upload media” isn’t exactly a helpful error message. It would be nice if WordPress said what in the process had failed (didn’t find site, didn’t find image, didn’t have permission, etc.).
I got it fixed not as a ‘permissions’ issue, but as an ‘owner’ issue in Apache.
The files and folders had been reset to apache as owner and I needed to change them back to my user in the file manager.

In reply to: [Regenerate Thumbnails] [Plugin: Regenerate Thumbnails] resize failureTried it in:
Safari 5.1.1
Chrome 16.0.912.41 beta
Firefox 8.0
Same result in each. Thanks very much for looking into this Alex!
Same thing here. Mine’s happening regardless of whether it’s attached or unattached. I can’t find any logic to it. 69 regenerated, 66 not. I attached some of them to see if it changed, but it didn’t.

In reply to: [Regenerate Thumbnails] [Plugin: Regenerate Thumbnails] resize failureI’m getting the same error, which I’ve never gotten before with this plugin (which I love, thank you very much). I tried loading it in another browser and got the same error.

In reply to: [SEO] Is this plugin a blatant rip off of Yoast's WordPress SEO plugin?I think this is the one where they expressly ignore the GPL and credit to the original coder, violate the spirit of open-source and WordPress, and then try to convince people to pay for something mediocre where Yoast’s free one is substantially better.
Can’t believe I never came back to say Thank You! This worked perfectly. Enormous apologies and thanks so much for your help.

Having it reinstalled over and over is simply annoying.
