Because of lbmoores’ reply and out of my own curiosity, I disabled the All in One SEO and reloaded the site but the same error message occurs.
Now I have an additional problem: before tampering with the .htaccess file I backed up my databases but now my WordPress site won’t load because it can’t contact mysql database.
I checked the .htaccess file and didn’t see any re-write/redirects there that would change things. I recently installed HeadSpace and All in One SEO and shortly after this encountered the problems.
I really appreciate the help.
No, I can’t figure out why it started re-directing to that url. On my settings page the root url is as it’s always been.
