Great! Thank you for the code. I changed it to .page for my site and it works. I hope you can help with 2 questions below:

1. How do I reset the “About” page to full width?
The “About” page was set to full with (did not have a side bar) and now it shows the space of the side bar (although there is nothing in that space). I have set the page to “Full Width” but it seems the code overrides this.

2. How do I move the text all the way to the left (the side bar)on the “Contact” page?

Yes, I put in a code for title (did not know the code for desc) last night in the Custom CSS. I now put both codes in as you advised, still nothing happened. I changed the font size dramatically to see the effect (not the real font size I am going to use once this works).

Is there something that overrides this code? Or did I do something wrong?

I started out with the Customizr theme but was not able to customize it the way I wanted my website to look so when I found Moesia I switched. Some of the codes may have carried over.

I am happy to report that after so much time playing with it, I am able to set the pages to “full width”.

Here is another dumb question… for the pages that I want the sidebar, how to I edit the sidebar so that each page has a different sidebar? I added “Visual Editor” widget to the Sidebar but it I am not able to make text entry.
