Hey there Richard. You’re correct, I’ve kept posting on kingglutenfree.wordpress.com until the transfer of the domain name is all complete.

I actually wrote back to you on a page I found here, http://richardarchambault.ca/contact/ thinking that we could figure things out through email and ended up getting a reply from another helpful WordPress Engineer.

I’m partially sorted out. I looked at the instructions for just pointing the URL at my other subdomain but GoDaddy’s page didn’t quite match the instructions so I’m going to try and transfer the domain instead. Then I’ll be able to point it at the new blog.

Thanks. You’ve both been helpful. I’ve used a few other web platforms and I’m pretty happy and impressed with WordPress so far.

Hey there Richard. I think I’m having a similar issue. I’ve used an importer plugin to move my blog posts from kingglutenfree.wordpress.com over to kingglutenfree.projectawesome.ca

The posts came over fine but I’d like to have all the social shares and stats come over to the new site before I officially change the web address. Any advice on how I can make that happen?
