Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Static page is not working. HELP!!!Seems like this issue is quite common in 3.0. Have you disabled all plugins and tested the blog link? Some are experiencing this issue with re-direct type plugins, but some, like me didn’t (I restored a database backup from 2.9.2 on my 3.0 install and ran the database upgrade routine, which seem to fix it).

In reply to: After WP 3.0 Site downIt could be that your hosts MySql server has gone down. Can you log on to your host control panel and, if so, can you view your MySql databases? Also, can you establish a link via FTP to your host?
To restore the database you usually do it via your hosts control panel.
(Should be the same place where you backed it up!)
However, make sure you have tried de-activating all plugins you have on your site before doing anything else to see if that fixes the issue. Then you may be able to narrow it down to it being a plugin issue and not a WordPress one.
I tried this to no avail, but some people seem to be having these redirection issues because of incompatible plugins.
I had the same issue. Unfortunately, the only way I could seem to fix it was to restore the database from a backup
