I badly need this functionality. I was so sad when I found out there was no obvious way to do that. It would make like so much easier!
I have just discovered the same problem. I am worried it may be the cause of my 500 internal server errors. I too would like to know more about this.
I am having the same problem. I haven’t added any scripts to the sidebar, it’s pure widgets. Did you ever solve your problem?
That sounds like a great idea! I am doing something similar with my WordPress, only I am not worrying about having clients check in or out. I do that part over the email. The WordPress will help me show off finished projects and blog about the process.
Your client access features don’t sound like anything I’ve ever heard WordPress do before. I would be interested to see if this can be done! And if it cannot, perhaps something like Drupal could? It is more “CMS”-ified.
