I gave up on a decent fix for this and switched to Awesome Flickr Gallery. The maker of that plugin has an updated version available on github. Download zip, manually upload, works great.
Lezziadn – did you change http to https in all instances in those files? Or only specific places?
Ha. Just google the error message that’s on gallery pages “Responsive Flickr Gallery Error – SSL is required” and you can see how widespread this is. Lots of pages using it now with no photos.
Any chance of a plugin update to fix this?
And apparently this was a host issue, because 5 minutes after I posted, the error message is gone …
