As it turns out, using the Facebook Open Graph Meta Tags plugin allowed me to change the canonical URL and fix the slash issue. However it’s still linking to the events list page instead of the actual event itself.

Also, the URL is the list view doesn’t show the full URL. It just goes to /events/upcoming/ when it should go to /stone-brewing-co-5-tap-takeover/
