In reply to: [Slideshow Satellite] [Plugin: Slideshow Satellite] A couple of questionsThere is no limitation to the number of slideshows, although the stylesheets are only optimized for 5, look at the #featured1 in the css and you’ll see what I mean. It’s simple to add more and I’ll be adding up to 15 for the next release which I’m currently working on.
The multiple slideshows can indeed be placed on separate pages, even with the free edition.
I’m confused about the 3rd question. Reload the entire page? Slideshows shouldn’t reload the entire page if I’m understanding your question, they should load within that page refresh. Otherwise you can just use images and links and create a new wordpress page for each image. Perhaps show me an example of a site? But I’m assuming no, Satellite won’t be able to do it.
thanks for the heads up on this. Looking into it this weekend.
Perhaps due to a lower opacity that Internet Explorer doesn’t handle well? What version of IE?

In reply to: [Plugin: Slideshow Satellite] width and height not workingYeah, sadly you’ve reached a limitation in the plugin. If you notice how the plugin calls the style sheet orbit-css.php?custom=var&custom=var
The width and height are being set right there. So…this only allows for one different width and height setup per page. Sorry!
Gives me an idea for setting up A and B sizing of width and height and then you can do [satellite size=a] [satellite size=b]

In reply to: [Plugin: Slideshow Satellite] width and height not workingcan you confirm there is a ‘pro’ directory in your /plugins/slideshow-satellite/ folder?
If not you’ll have to replace that from your original download, that’s where all the premium features come from.

In reply to: [Plugin: Slideshow Satellite]Thumbnail configurationThanks for posting this over here! Yes the party is best to be moved here since it’s easier for searching etc…
I am going to add it to not crop in the next version of the slideshow, I’ve figured out a good way to do that now.

In reply to: [Slideshow Satellite] [Plugin: Slideshow Satellite] Titles not showing upHave you checked the ‘Caption Title’ setting under ‘Appearance and Styles’? There is a setting for None/Hidden.
I’m getting a 2.34 second load time…

In reply to: [Slideshow Satellite] [Plugin: Slideshow Satellite] Errors in installation!!On version 1.1.2? I haven’t heard of any admin errors. This could be an issue with PHP on your server?
Strange indeed. It could be an issue with your nextgen plugin or one of it’s extensions. I don’t see anything either, other than the javascript isn’t liking the orbit call
try disabling them? Also try switching themes. it’s probably a conflict somewhere…
I noticed similar behaviour on a 3.0 install
Add this to the bottom of the slideshow-satellite/views/admin/settings.php file right before the </div>
Toggle On/Off All Form Options
That will have to do for now. It’ll give you access to all the form options, but it’ll just be less pretty than having the bars work. Check to see if there are any javascript errors happening through Firebug Console?
if you enjoy the plugin don’t forget to help the ratings for it so more people give it a try 🙂
