I have the exact same issue, the update to 2.0.17 did not fix the issue for me. My problem is ongoing.
I am having the same issue. I am hosted on godaddy and I checked with their support to see if maybe there was a permissions issue but they could not find one. I tried the work-arorund above and it did not work. I filed a bug report.
