In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Found a small bugHi,
while we try to understand how to address the conflict with Admin Columns, I am going to address your concern about the upcoming GDPR regulations in Europe. Based on our current understanding of this new law, please note that as long as the hosting provider where you are storing the information collected by Slimstat is GDPR compliant, then you won’t have to worry about any extra layer of compliance offered by software like ours. The main goal of this new set of rules is to make sure data is stored in a safe and secure way. One of our primary goals is to make sure no vulnerabilities are present within our code, and guarantee that you and only you are the sole owner of the data collected by our plugin. This has always been what makes Slimstat stand out from the crowd: while Jetpack, Google Analytics and many other services have full unrestricted access to the data they collect on your website, we at Slimstat don’t treat our users as the “product” we sell to other companies 😉
I hope this answers your question.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] About the archive tableHi,
sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Yes, the archive table will not be emptied even after turning off the corresponding option in the settings. That is, after all, the expected behavior. You can truncate the table directly via SQL, if you don’t need to save the old data.

if you go to Slimstat > Settings > Maintenance, you’ll find a section about enabling the Geolocation feature in Slimstat. Contact us if it’s not working, and I will send you detailed instructions on how to manually install the data file.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Problem with displaying Logged-In usersThis is indeed quite strange. Are you sure you don’t have any settings in Slimstat telling the plugin to NOT TRACK Subscribers? Otherwise, I don’t see why that would happen, since the only detail Slimstat is using to determine if a user is logged in, is the cookie set by WordPress. Which should be the same regardless of the user role.
