In reply to: WP Cron IssueGot the below mail. I have checked with my host – GoDaddy as well. They are looking into it. Any idea what could have been the issue?
While trying to spawn a call to the WP-Cron system, the following error occurred:
Unexpected HTTP response code: 429

The website is hosted on GoDaddy and i had a long call with them regarding maintenance and security yesterday. So i’m sure the server has all the right requirements and is correctly configured or they would have pointed out in case there was something missing.

In reply to: WP Cron Issuethanks. Will check and get back
Thanks @jeroenrotty
Apologies for the confusion. My main concern was, how to stop this crashing issues which happen due to plugin errors.
It not about 1 plugin because every time its a new plugin that creates the problem. i have faced this issue about 4 times in the past few months with the latest 2 crashes happening this month itself.
Where can i raise a general issue regarding this from an overall website perspective and not plugin perspective?
No its not resolved. The site crashed again today due to elementor. I mentioned it above 3 hours back
i have enabled auto updates. Yet elementor didn’t update automatically which caused the crash
Thank you @maybellyne.
I checked the compatibility. Everything seems fine. The site crashed again today.
https://www.cybermak.net/This time it was elementor which caused the crash
Thank you @maybellyne.
The removing and reinstalling process seems to work for now, but how do i make sure it doesn’t happen again. I’ve had at least 3-4 such issues since the past few months where the plugin had an error and the website crashed, then i get those mails from WP with the recovery mode link.
How do it permanently stop this?
Thank you Maybellyne. Will try what you suggested.
Removing a plugin will undo all the work i did using it right? Will reinstalling auto update all the work done so far?
