Note that Firefox truncates it when you view the feed, but looking at the source shows that it’s the full feed.
Also, if you use <!–More–> tags, it cuts it short. This plugin claims to solve this:

I’ve at least found a workaround that works for me. If you click edit, then scroll down, there is a Delete this post button. That button did delete the post for me.
I’ve got the same problem, and that plugin does not work. I am logged in with an account with an admin role.
