In reply to: Header Javascript doesn’t show in single post – Mandigo themeIt sounds like a file reference issue. Do you understand difference between absolute & relative links? From your code, it looks like you have a relative link to the relevant file (AC_RunActiveContent.js) I would replace that with a direct link to the file (http://andrewdoran.com/phoblography/AC_RunActiveContent.js).
Let us know how it goes.

In reply to: Borders not showing up around images with captionMind posting some of your code? Are you inserting the borders through your style sheet or in the individual posts?

In reply to: Plugin to import RSS to pages rather than to the main blog page?It sounds like you’re looking to display the results of other rss feeds, right?
If that is the case, check this site out – it might have some plugins that can help you out:

In reply to: Newbie & Frusturated with changing headerSharyn,
Are you trying to replace the little ornament picture in the upper left-hand corner of the theme?
It looks like the file is “ornament2.gif”. If you want to do a straight replacement (with a picture matching that size [100×100 pixels]), you can either rename the old file (ie., ornament2.gif.old) & replace it OR you can go into your style sheet and have it point to the picture you want for your header.
According to your style sheet, the original picture is in the path “/images/headers/” within your theme folder.
Also, the link to your blog was bad. For anyone who is still trying to get to it, here it is with the “.com” added on:

In reply to: I Need HELP!!!!Menagerie,
I’m sorry for your troubles. Please know that this kind of rudeness (or at least, blindness to courtesy) is not a common thing here. I hope you feel comfortable enough coming back for further help in the future.

In reply to: One Theme ProplemSorry for the second post.
I was watch the advertisement video at One Theme’s website and they made reference to the feature you are trying to access. It is called “Post Thumbnails”. I don’t know anything about how to use that feature, but if you contact them for help regarding this, they will be faster at helping you.
Also, I did a search for “thumbnails” in the Support forums, under “Using One Theme” and quite a few threads were found. I recommend trying that out and seeing if anyone else has had your problem.

In reply to: One Theme ProplemHkhm,
Thanks for the link – it helps to illustrate what you’re hoping to accomplish.
I’m sorry to say that I don’t know how to solve your problem.
There is some feature being used that allows you to put up a separate picture on the main page. That picture is not at all part of the post itself. I’m sure that there is an option to configure this when you create a post, but without having access to the theme, I have no way of finding the solution.
Have you attempted to use the support forums at One Theme? Their forums are located at: http://www.one-theme.com/support/
There is also a contact form that might be helpful: http://www.one-theme.com/contact/.
I’m sorry I can’t help further – maybe others here or the makers of One Theme can.

In reply to: One Theme Proplem(It would be very helpful if took advantage of a spell-check program before posting. I understand that English might not be your native language, but your post is almost unintelligible)
If I understand you correctly, you are unable to insert a picture into a post. When you try, it doesn’t show up. Is this correct?
If you are using a free theme, please tell us which one it is.

In reply to: Footer IssueThats just odd. In my (limited) experience, nothing should be encoded. What theme are you using? Maybe we can look it over as well.

In reply to: Theme okay in Firefox – not IE7 help!I’m not seeing a difference in the pages between Firefox 3 & Internet Explorer 7. Did something change (errors fixed after Samboll’s post)?
If there is still a problem, do you mind pointing out exactly what isn’t behaving as you like?

In reply to: Crossfading header imagesEpicalex,
I’m sorry for the late reply. I ended up sticking with a basic rotating script (as you mentioned).
The original idea was to have several layers of images in one spot, with one of those layers rotating through a folder of images on the server. Ideally (at the time), the images would have been crossfading in and out.
Practically, this is an eyesore & a distraction on the page, so I’ve stuck with a Daniel Benjamin’s Random Image Rotation script.
I’m sorry for the problems with my vocabulary regarding WordPress. I’m certainly no expert in one week, but when I first posted I was feeling amazingly overwhelmed by the challenge of customizing my own WordPress blog. Thanks for trying to help me out – and for putting your work online for others to use for their own sites.

In reply to: Crossfading header imagesThis looks like its designed for use in posts – how does it work in the header itself – and to rotate images within it?
