Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, that removed the ‘next article’ arrow when someone is viewing the newest post. However, the text links aren’t vertically aligned with the arrows, as can be seen in the example screenshots below:

Thanks for your reply. I got around this issue by adding the anchor link to the end of each post – now all works fine, and the browser jumps to the same spot anyway.
