FYI I’m also at WPEngine and was seeing this same behavior. Maybe it’s isolated to their platform?
How did you “re-install” did you simply perform a core update?
Shouldn’t the plugin check this file against the repository and *not* mark it as “modified”? I don’t get a list (or persistent alerts) of modified files when I perform WP updates normally.

In reply to: [Ultimate Modal] Mobile ScrollingThanks Claudio. We have already hid the modal with CSS – might be a good feature to add if this plugin remains popular.

In reply to: [TwentyTwenty] responsiveI too am looking to make this plugin responsive. I tried replacing the JS/CSS from versions I found on GitHub without success.
I noticed in the blog post announcing the plugin (in 2014), the demo IS responsive:

Can anyone give specific instructions on how to accomplish this?

In reply to: [Simple Custom Post Order] Post Ordering Multiple Category IssueAnyone have any answers to my inquiry???? Still having issues.
Fixed the Pro Slideshow … it was the “aspect ratio” which we set to “first image”.
Hmm, switched to the Pro Slideshow and now we have the opposite problem – too much spacing above/below the slideshow in larger viewports, and correct spacing on smaller viewports.
I don’t see any height settings for the Pro slideshow, so I’m not sure how it’s calculating the height.

At 740px and below, the responsive code kicks in and you start to see the space develop.
Code for placeholder gif:
<img width=”1000″ height=”320″ style=”width: 1000px; height: 320px;” src=”http://nausetboosters.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_gallery/static/slideshow/placeholder.gif” class=”image-placeholder”>
I am having this issue as well, where the placeholder image is creating empty space on my responsive theme.
Has this been addressed? I am running 2.0.66.29

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Cannot CheckoutSpoke too soon, I tried checking out and now get the following error:
Please select one of the available shipping options, then we can process your order.
I am using Table Rate shipping and there is only one option available to the user, which I chose repeatedly. I tried re-saving my settings, and because of my research on similar issues (I Googled the error first), I checked to make sure my theme was not hiding anything (it appears not).

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Cannot CheckoutThat was it.
For some unknown reason, the [shoppingcart] shortcode on my checkout page had been replaced by just the placeholder image.
I haven’t fully checked out, but I’m not seeing the checkout form which is an improvement.
Thanks Mihai

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Cannot CheckoutI did this but it had no effect.
The only text/copy that I had on my products page was [productspage], so I removed it, saved the page, and then added it back and saved.
Do I also need to update/change the shortcode on the checkout page?

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Suddenly stopped working in May.I and others may be having similar problems, I posted about it here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-checkout-1?replies=1
quick Google search brought up a few posts with the same error:
Options:
1. Try re-installing the plugin either manually or via the WP admin.
2. You can access the data (stored in MySQL) using a tool like PHPMyAdmin which can be accessed via your hosting control panel.
3. The images you uploaded should be accessible via FTP, or your web hosts’ file manager tool.Good luck!
