In reply to: [HappyFiles - WordPress Media Folders & File Manager] Beaver Builder BugThanks a lot for reporting this issue, @kayamurer. I can confirm that this is happening on my end as well. I will provide a fix this weekend and will let you know about it here.
Best,
ThomasHi @tahamohamadi,
I just released HappyFiles 1.3. Can you please update to version 1.3 and let me know if the new version fixes the issue for you.
Cheers,
ThomasHi @jkjkjk,
I just released HappyFiles 1.3, which provides a fix for the shortcode parameter issue. Some other users already confirmed that all shortcode parameters are working properly now. So I will close this issue. If you still experience any issues with that, please let me know.
Hi @alriksson,
I just released HappyFiles 1.3. Please let me know if the new version fixes your featured image issue.
Best,
ThomasHi @elizwood-1, glad to hear you enjoy the ability to assign your photos to multiple categories. The new HappyFiles 1.3 will be released this week, with plenty of nice additions to improve your workflow even further 🙂
Hey @alriksson,
As my last comment was deleted, let me try this:
Can you disable all plugins except HappyFiles to check if the issue still exists?
Could you share a screenshot of the WordPress page where the categories aren’t loaded when viewing the featured image modal? Ideally with the developer console open, so I can see any error output. That would be great 🙂
Thank you,
Thomas@jdembowski Got it, thank you 🙂
@tahamohamadi My previous comment has been deleted, so here we go again.
You said your main categories and subcategories are not displayed. As far as I can see from your screenshot they look okay.
Ideally would be a short screencast record using a free software like loom.com so I can get a better understanding of what exactly is broken, as it’s not really clear for me from the screenshot.
When viewing the HappyFiles categories sidebar in a media modal, you should be able to scroll down the category tree using your mouse when you hover of the HappyFiles categories.
When you click on a parent category, the sub categories should expand. Does this work for you?
Also which version of HappyFiles are you using? If you are not on HappyFiles 1.2, I recommend to first update to that version and see if the issue still exists.
Can you try disabling all plugins except HappyFiles and check if you still experience this issue? This way we can isolate the problem and ensure it’s not a conflict with another plugin.

In reply to: [HappyFiles - WordPress Media Folders & File Manager] WPMLThanks so much for reporting this issue, @beithazohar 🙂
When you say WPML does not recognise HappyFiles folders you mean those folders don’t show up when viewing a secondary language? Or just that those folders are empty?
I am currently working together with Izzi from the WPML team to make HappyFiles 100% WPML compatible. The more details you can provide here (screenshots, screencast, etc.) the faster and better I can help.
One thing to note: HappyFiles is creating its folders using custom taxonomy terms. If you have enabled the WPML settings to translate taxonomies, then WPML will create a new folder for each language. Meaning when you add files to a folder when viewing your site in the main language, those files won’t be categorised when you switch to another language. As the secondary language folders are duplicates created by WPML. Which is not apparent as they have the same name, but they are two different taxonomy terms. If you want your folders files to be the same across languages I recommend to not translate taxonomies via WMPL.

ThomasHi @jkjkjk,
Thanks so much for reporting the shortcode issue. Seems to be a bug, as someone else reported this as well. I’ll look into it and provide a fix this week.
