    I’ve copied and pasted most of the blog back so no worries on the help. I’ll chalk it up to user error.

    Yes, I am running the latest version of PHP. The transfer was on a recent blog (less than a month old) so it was transferring the same versions of PHP and sql.

    I restored it by dropping the existing tables and then selecting the blank database(bottom of the page) and then importing the backup. I also loaded the new database into the db_backup file in the GoDaddy Server.

    so I copy and pasted the meta tag into the header and the homepage redirects to the new page, and then goes to a 500 internal server message. It only stays on the new page for a split second.wierd. I’ll try it on another page I guess.
