Hi Mark. Thanks for the offer of help. I just left a comment on your blog. It seems to have worked. However, the problem I’m experiencing is with comment forms that require you to use your wordpress login.

It turned out none of my plug-ins were active (I didn’t notice that before). I deleted the ‘Hallo Dolly’ plug-in (no idea why I ever installed that) and re-activated my ‘Akismet’ and ‘Gravatar’ plug-in and it all started working again fine.
