In reply to: The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default themeyeah, i did.

In reply to: The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default themei see, okay.
so you did an export on the tables – the entire database and saved it to a local file.
dropped all the tables (even other site’s?)
ran the install again – wordpress installation (okay)
emptied wordpress’s tables
ran an import on the database (the export files with wordpress only or entire DB?)TIA
here’s what I did:
1. Export all tables (Select all tables)
2. Dropped all tables, including other sites
3. Refreshed site, went into installation and installed WP
4. Emptied WP’s tables (Emptied, not Drop)
5. Ran an import on the database (all tables) using the export fileWent into WP configuration, everything’s still the same
Could it be due to wrong WP Collation (utf8-general) or wrong permission for WP directory?

In reply to: Weird Behavior?bump, anyone?
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Weird Behavior? It’s a fresh copy of installation.
That means straight after installation, when I tried access any of the administration site, the page will not get parsed corretly. some behavior includes: Save Changes button not present, clicking Tools gives a blank page, deleting, editing, saving, adding articles – clicking publish gives me blank page.as for plugins, as mentioned above, it’s a fresh installation and i’m encountering the weird behavior, nevertheless, i did try the disabling all plugins method by creating a new plugins folder and renaming old plugins folder to plugins.hold which temporary disable all plugins and it’s still the same.
tried different browsers but still the same – Firefox, Chrome, Safari, MSIEi’ve tried restarting web server, deleting wordpress mysql db, reupload fresh copy, but to no avail.
