In reply to: Dynamic Menu and the blog pageHey deltina – I figured out a work around for my site since I only post to one category on our blog. The codex on the new Static and Posts page features notes that if you don’t make an entry in the Posts page then you have to use “category, calendar, or archive links” to link to your blog page. So I removed my Posts page entry and linked to the single category I post to and used the “is_category” call instead of the “is_page” call to make my dynamic menu highlight when I’m on the blog page. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Reading_Options_SubPanel for info on the new Static and Posts page and see http://www.stpaulsms.org, “News” link, to view the work around in action.

In reply to: Dynamic Menu HighlightingI did not have any luck with the codex procedure but I did have some luck with the below website after reading all the way down to the end of the comments. The only problem I’m having now is that my “Posts Page” (WP 2.2.1) link (I called it “News”) will not highlight using the “is_page” call when I’m on my “News” page.
Dynamic Link process that worked for me (read to the end):
