My Avatar has just changed to ANOTHER user’s avatar.
It’s not the same one that was misrepresenting before.Actually my error is slightly different. Im getting:

I did check out the PHP manual and it said the following:
Note: Note to Win32 Users
In order to enable this module on a Windows environment, libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll must be present in your PATH. You don’t need libcurl.dll from the cURL site.I did add that folder to the PATH variable in windows , but it did not fix the problem.
I’m having the same issue. and I always have been able to online auto update WordPress and plugins.
FWIW, I’m running php on IIS 7
I have a dedicated server, so I’ll have to find the CURL settings.
