In reply to: Wrapping Text Around ImagesOK, I’ve taken (clear: both;)out and it appears to have solved the problem and I don’t see any adverse effects at the moment. I am messing with the template layout anyway so all good, I think.
Thank you very much for your help and so quickly, very much appreciated!

In reply to: Wrapping Text Around ImagesOh, I’m just practicing different things on a pretty bad site so didn’t add a link. The page I’m in the process of messing up at the moment is back support cushion. Please don’t take this as a sample of my work, just the wrap text problem.

In reply to: Footer Area Widgets not ShowingHi
Thanks, but appears not (line 356 </div> </div>) it all goes badly wrong if I take that out.
Re: Validator, I need to do more learning about this, the errors are from banners etc; or the template I’m using. If I use html tidy the errors show just the same as the original.

In reply to: Navigation links not workingThanks,
I’m really quite novice at this, self taught. So, I’m a bit scared of interferring with deep things too much as I have given myself severe headaches at times.
I have 3 errors and 2 warnings preventing me from validation(pasted below.) I cannot do anything about these as html tidy shows exactly the same as it is now therefore, I don’t know how to get around this.
The quick fix is to hit the sidebar with position:
relative; Could you explain where and how I give this a try please?

Yep, me too henve reading this thread. Perhaps, we should all contact Joost de Valk and direct him to this page in order that he knows what is happening.

In reply to: Title Showing in Header v Title Showing in Page SourceOk Thank you, I will go into this and decide which route to take.
Although, I still feel there must be another way. Going back to my orininal question, I checked again the page source and that site does not appear to be using Yoast but does achieve what I am trying to do.
Thanks again. :0)

In reply to: Title Showing in Header v Title Showing in Page SourceArhhh, thank you.
I have seen Yoast mentioned quite a lot but not looked into it as I use the All in One SEO Pack. Would Yoast replace this or will they work in unison?

In reply to: Comments -HOW I wonderAhh, Ok thank you.
So I guess people are just wanting to create links and have the know-how to get to comments from them. Strange that they are all using their facebook page to link but that’s another issue, I’ll google as to why.
Thank you for clearing that up for me.

In reply to: Comments -HOW I wonderHi Esmi
Thanks, that was quick.
No, I have not and I don’t mind getting comments but what I don’t understand is where pages such as http://www.drydogfood.org.uk/?attachment_id=215 come from, how are they created? They are not on the sitemap and I feel out of control when things happen that I don’t understand.

<!– super cache –>Does that mean it’s working?
I don’t want to try a different version at the moment as I am following a training program that I should stick to at least until for now. Just that the main support person is on holiday at the moment – he deserves that :).
