    Hi @ralx
I found a solution but unfortunately I can’t find the post again. Basically I’ve made two attributes, 1) Color and 2) Color group. In 1) I have the specific colors like navy blue, baby blue. In 2) I have the more generic color groups like blue, red and yellow.
Every product has both attributes. Group 1 (specific color) is then marked as “Used for variants” while Group 2 (color group) is marked as “Visible on product page”. My webshop is in danish so I’m not sure what the precise translation is but it’s something like that..

I hope that makes sense! 🙂

Otherwise I’ve just found a plug-in that might work: WooCommerce Group Attributs by welaunch.

Hi Nicola and thanks a lot for your answer 😀
I’ve been trying out the plug-in for the last couple of days, but I can’t seem to figure out how to fix my problem. Can you maybe give me a hint?
I can get it to group attributes on the single product page but I haven’t figured out how to group them on the shop page so that the groups can be used in the filters.

    Thank you so much!
    I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of that..
