Thanks for the snippet Otto… exactly what I’m looking for to integrate with Tribe’s Event Calender Plugin so it doesn’t autopost venues and organizers.
Got it to work… did a database reset to push back to where I was yesterday and the reset admin priveleges by updating the tables using info from this link: http://www.dnawebagency.com/how-to-add-an-admin-user-to-the-wordpress-database

@esmi – I do have a pre-edit database backup however, not very recent, I would prefer to be able to fix the problem with out having to restore a backup and lose the current info. I did save the data in the fields in the tables I edit before I edited them and when I noticed the error I tried setting the data back to the original but am still getting the same problem. Last resort would be to restore, but I would like to see if I can avoid that 🙂
No I haven’t tried doing that before. How would I do that and what would that mean? Would that affect the current post and data that I have now? I’ve never done a database reset before. Can I reset just the user_roles/cron/rewrite data?
