I’m having the same problem and have also had to disable the plugin until it’s resolved.
I’ve just updated to 1.4.2 and everything works fine 🙂

Just wondering if there is any update on this question? I have exactly the same need, albeit using WordPress multisite to display products across sites.
I’m having the same problem. It appears in the list of plugins fine, but the options are missing on the Catalog tab in WooCommerce settings.
