    This worked – I disabled all my plugins, and then set up the slider appropriately.

    For posterity (that’s you, reader) I tried to narrow down the culprit for a good 20 minutes but I got conflicting results. Don’t have the time to work through it all.

    All my disabled plugins are:
    Akismet Anti-Spam
    Activate | Edit | Delete
