In reply to: [WP eCommerce] adding uk countieshi again
i managed to import a csv file into the tax regions database table, by replacing the wp_wpsc_region_tax table. saved a lot of hand-coding. if anyone has access to their db, then you can find my csv file by following the link below
it lists previous usa and canada entries, with uk and ireland added
works a treat, well done Lee π

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] adding uk countiesi have a further question, re creating a csv file of uk counties to import into the ‘region manager’
is there a way to import a csv file of counties into either the region manager or the database? it would save a lot of hand-inputting, or is that the only way?
also, how do i determine the country id for the UK? in the database, the USA is 136 and Canada is 100
many thanks

+1 for “have links in [bgmp-list] open repsective info on mapβ
[don’t stop now]
π
i’ve just come across the limitation of the bmp-list when using categories [point 2] π
isn’t there a way of inserting the correct category info in the same way the category filter function works for the maps? wouldn’t it be a similar line of code?
this would be sooooo useful to me right now! because the map uses cats i assumed the list would too
coders out there, get to it!
thanks for researching that – it’s a great plug-in
don’t wanna put anyone off this, but now someone seems to have had the same experience with a mac pro and firefox??
has anyone noticed if it’s the sign-up form or the list? i’m thinking of moving the list, but it’ll be pointless if the form is causing this
bit of feedback:
“I’m using windows xp. I had probs with Internet Explorer 8. Froze several times trying to access the pledge signup page. Latest version of Firefox worked fine. Cheers”
any help?
that’s not a bad point, kreg
how about a workaround, where it detects the version of ie and displays the list either complete, if wanted, or a shortened list [latest sigs] if older than x version? whichever version it is that messes up with long lists – does anyone know yet?
is that possible?
us too!
http://standupfortibet.org/enough/dk-speakup-petition-1/
developed it using firefox and now it’s in full swing we’ve been receiving reports of the same problem with internet explorer
think the code needs a tweak somewhere?

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Slideshow image descriptionit appears that the slideshow navigation height is set, so that if you add a linebreak to the description, it drops off the bottom; without the linebreak the text expands width-wise unsatisfactorily.
if the navigation height could be set to expand automatically, users could place linebreaks throughout any long descriptions and it would display properly in the slideshow
bit of a workaround, but impossible without the auto-height functionality in the navigation.
i assume this is something to do with the imagerotator and perhaps something the nextgen team needs to look at, as we don’t have access to the fla file?
could i request that nextgen look into this as a possible workaround? i’ll look around for somewhere to make the request…
best wishes

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Slideshow image descriptioni’ve searched all the threads and this is the best thread for this topic – all it needs is resolving!
i would hope that it could be controlled via css, but would like to know what to tag – .slideshow desc? will try a few things
PLEASE if someone has an answer to this – put us all out of our misery
