In reply to: [Plugin: WP-PageNavi] Padding problem in IEI’m having padding issues also. Just with the “Page # of #”.
Everything else is padded correctly, but IE is ignoring the left padding on that box. And its also ignoring a left margin.
But when I look at the plugin page here: http://lesterchan.net/wordpress/ That looks fine in IE.
I made sure the plugin was updated (it wasnt, even tho the WP auto updater thing said it was – I’m done using that feature….) So I uninstalled and installed a new version.
I also captured the CSS used on the plugin page and used that. And I also tried using 6/10px instead of 4. Still no change…
Right padding works fine.
Any help is appreciated
Edit: I got a left margin by just adding a .wp-pagenavi class to the CSS and putting a left margin on that. Still no go on the left padding tho.

In reply to: WP-Polls gives error on uninstall, widget wont work on reinstall. That fixed it. I actually re uploaded it via FTP (because even with the error, it still deleted) and then uninstalled it through your steps. Just to make sure everything was properly uninstalled…
Re uploaded through ftp, activated… everything works great now.
Thanks!

In reply to: Uploading an image from URLI figured it out. Apparently you can already do it.
Just do it as if you were uploading a file from your computer, but when the file browser pops up, rather than clicking a file, just paste the url into the text field.
It hang for a few seconds, but it works! And it wont just link through the url, it actually uploads it…

In reply to: Uploading an image from URLThanks for the response, but if you are talking about the “Upload/Insert” buttons at the top of the posting page, that is creating an offsite link.
WordPress is just linking to the image, rather than capturing/uploading it to my webserver and creating a new link.
Thanks though!
I may need a plugin…

In reply to: Firefox issues…Wow thats a nice feature, thanks for recommending it.
So are you guys basically saying that I cannot have the sidebar hanging outside the main area like it is in IE? And that I’ll have to squeeze it into the margin on the right? Otherwise I dont see what adjusting the width would do.
Again, thanks for the replies, I appreciate the help

In reply to: Firefox issues…Well if your saying that the width of the sidebar is pushing it below the posts, I dont think thats it. Or at least it shouldn’t…
Take a look in IE to see what it should look like. The sidebar is suppose to extend outside the main area, using overflow.
Maybe FF doesn’t support overflow. I’ll have to look that up…
Thanks for the reply
