I tested to Disable feature image from Post options under wordpress editor (the place I put your shortcode). It is not working. The feature image still shows up on single post content.
So, for my understand, we need to find out a way to include Post options feature to be equipped in single post editor on your plugin.

I can see the feature image options on my theme editor under wordpress dashboard.
If your plugin works under the same editor, the post options for feature image should be included. I do not understand what you explained above.

I do not need plugin and still can hide the feature image in the single post template from: Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout – Posts/Pages.
And also can achieve it from Post options for this post under the WordPress post editor.
By the way I can’t find the Post options checkbox under your Testimonial plugin editor. It seems your plugin is missing out this part.
Please advise.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Image and Read more are not displayedFor your reference, When I turn the admin site to Chinese from Setting/General, I can see the word count is working on the Editor. The testimony is same showing like your above. But I can’t control more or less words count by Excerpt. I want it to set 50 words, but it always shows like yours only about 15 words that is too short.
Beside, how can I keep admin site in English and make Editor counts chinese?
Please help. Thanks in advance!

I can see wp-admin/option has already utf-8, as (if ( ! in_array( get_option( ‘blog_charset’ ), array( ‘utf8’, ‘utf-8’, ‘UTF8’, ‘UTF-8’ ) ) )
But “Read more” for chinese is still not counting and not working on your plugin (Edit Testimonial).

1. The image is working now when uploading from Featured Image box.
2. The view settings for excerpt type is Automatic Excerpt and length is 30.3. I set “Read more” as in Non-English. Here is the problem: The testimonial content are in non-English language. The word count shown 5 only. But there are more than 200 words in that language. So the Read More function is still not working.
4. I created one view. I am using this view shortcode. I am sure shortcode is okay because the image and testimonial are displayed. Only “Read more” problem now.
