In reply to: I changed my site URL but cannot change my logoJohanna – Thanks for the response! I appreciate your helpfulness. I figured it out. I didn’t realize I had my theme selected to override wp on the customizing functions. When the lightbulb went on, I went and made the change and voilá, it worked! Really simple. Favicon is still stubborn, but I’m not too worried about that. I will mark this as resolved. Cheers! Caroline

What you suggested worked, but I had to take a few extra steps. Main thing is that I’m learning and moving forward. I enjoy designing myself and have had experience doing so, just not with wp.org. I appreciate your feedback.

I really appreciate your response! I have followed what you’ve said exactly, all the way until I get to the A static page (select below) and I selected one of my pages from the dropdown for my front page.I saved everything and then went to look at my site. Here is what I get: http://wetapestry.com/. Hope you can see it, but I have not published anything yet. (This site is going to be a culture storytelling site but eventually so much more, by the way.) I did upload some pictures on the page just for a try, but nothing shows up when I look at the site. Not sure why.
I am relatively new to WP.org but have been doing some of the trainings and feel as if I basically understand it, but I am not a coder and that is where I get lost. Any further advice you can provide, I truly appreciate it. I really like this theme and hope I can figure it out!
